There are so many great books out there, but today I want to share the best alphabet books for preschoolers. I believe that children don’t need to practice memorizing the alphabet letters and that a “Letter of the Week” program isn’t very effective.

An alphabet book is a book primarily designed for young presents letters of the alphabet with corresponding words and/or images.

Some alphabet books feature capitals and lower case letter forms, keywords beginning with specific letters, or illustrations of keywords. Alphabet books may consist of sentences, paragraphs, or entire pages highlighting letters and corresponding keywords.
